I am living in a virtual world, when I decided to try to bring myself out of the deepest depression of my life. I started walking the several blocks to my local library, a place where I thought I could have total peace, free wifi and electricity to charge my devices when they needed it.

However what I ended up doing was shooting dice, walking into a place in which day to day changes, depending on who is present.

I found out that local group homes for those with mental challenges, bring their clients or residents into the library for a few hours. While many of the staff ignore them, on their phones or doing other random things.

They often times make a lot of noise, which I can easily ignore, however what they do is take up several tables as they refuse to have them sit together.

There are only 2 tables in my local library in which have charging outlets, so these groups will sit at these table even though they don’t have the intention of using them.

The other people using the library in mass, are the unhoused people in the area. This is outside of Philadelphia, some people find it much safer and nicer to try to find a place to sleep.
