An African news outlet often posts questions on social media to engage people to respond, well the first question of the first day of the new year was, “You wake up as the opposite sex tomorrow, first thing you would do?” Pulse Kenya asked Kenyans “Wewe utafanya nini”? In the comments men & women reacted to what they’d do.

I have seen this question asked & answered many times in America as well however the reply that was so often repeated among the Kenyan men was to “Kill myself/ commit suicide/ go back to sleep”. Many wrote that woman were treated so poorly. One man wrote this, “women have it so hard then they have to deal with men constantly calling after them every where they go I would just go back to bed and pray that tomorrow I would awake a man again”.

Another man said he would, “Quickly go to the washroom to make sure that I was not bleeding down there”! Aside from the many comments about ending their lives men also said that they would never ask for money from a man. Work hard to make their parents proud of them on their own.
