Is this why so many African countries have horrible leaders?

Out of the top 10 countries in the world with dictators most are on the African continent, even if you leave out Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger which are military lead. The fact that so many corrupted presidents who are also morally bankrupt humans, were elected into office in the first place shows the minds of many in Africa.
William Ruto was named 2nd in the world as most corrupt leader. Then you have the president of Nigeria Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Who many accuse of being involved in drug dealing & trafficking, when he was living in the United States.
Between Kenyan president Ruto who came in 2nd, Tinubu of Nigeria came in 3rd. There are several news sources that claim around 60% of Nigerians love Trump. An unknown number of Nigerians around the world also seem to love Trump and have loved him even during his first term.
No matter the fact that he called their countries along with Haiti, “shit hole” countries.
