According to the United Nations (America) there are only 54 African countries. However according to the African Union there are 55, but according to facts there are 56 because there is Somaliland which I’ve written about before. Somaliland is recognized by 40 countries in the United Nations (that is more than Taiwan which only has 13 & the US is trying to go to war for)

NOTE: Only 54 African countries are recognized by the United Nations (America). Even though Palestine is a country they don’t recognize them because they refused to split their country with Israel. You can now see what is happening in Palestine.

Vatican City (the Catholic Church) is a country but not recognized by the United Nations. According to the UN there are only 197 countries there are about 220. Colonization is still taking place there are 7 African territories (countries) still occupied by Western countries. (2022)
